Prior to the CEO position, Bolen was the company's Pacific Region President and served as executive vice president of operations and senior vice president of construction services. Bolen joined McCarthy's Phoenix office as a carpenter superintendent in 1981 and later was director of operations for McCarthy's parking division.

Derek Glanvill

Derek Glanvill currently serves as the corporate president and chief operating officer for McCarthy, overseeing all operations for the builder's divisions and affiliates. In addition to construction operations, he is responsible for all corporate functions including developing new market areas, overseeing employee training, human resources, information technology, risk management, corporate communications and enhancing safety and quality programs.

Prior to his current position, Glanvill served as executive vice-president for McCarthy's Midwest Division. He has more than 25 years experience in the construction industry and has focused on a broad spectrum of national and international markets.

In addition to his work at McCarthy, Glanvill actively participates in a wide variety of civic and charitable endeavors. Currently, he sits on both the board of directors and private sector infrastructure council for the St. Louis Regional Chamber & Growth Association, and is a member of the Regional Business Council, the Associated General Contractors and the Young Presidents Organization, among others. Further, he also serves on the board of directors for St. Louis Children's Hospital Foundation Board, Wyman, a nationally recognized organization that prepares disadvantaged youth to lead successful lives and build strong communities, and the Make-A-Wish® Foundation Chapter for St. Louis, Kansas City and Springfield.

Frances Choun

Frances Choun is a principal and vice president for the Northern Pacific Division. She develops and maintains business relationships with clients throughout the region.

Choun launched her career in architecture, where she developed an interest in the construction side of the business. Her exposure to the construction industry eventually led to her transition into the field. As an industry expert, Frances is regularly called upon by local media and invited as a speaker on panels to address construction industry trends and has been published in both business and trade press.

In addition, Frances is the Immediate Past President of the Commercial Real Estate Women—San Francisco chapter; Past President of the board of directors for the San Francisco Telegraph Hill Neighborhood Center; and a member of the American Institute of Architects.

Jim Curcio

During his career with McCarthy, Calbert has worked in four McCarthy divisions, and held a variety of positions including project engineer, project manager, project director and vice president, operations. As President of the Southwest Region for the last ten years, McCarthy’s presence has grown in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah with revenue growing from $200 million to $700 million. McCarthy continues to provide service to the firm’s traditional markets and is expanding into renewable energy and industrial markets.

Ryan Freeman

Doug Audiffred

Wittkop joined McCarthy as a project engineer in 1986. He has spent the last 26 years moving up through the ranks of the organization, relocating for the company nine times to manage projects around the Central Division. One of his most notable projects was the 1.4 million-square-foot Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado.

Jim Contratto

Jim has nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry working on projects across the nation. He has served as an architectural project manager, construction project manager, chief estimator and preconstruction director for both small and mega-building contractors.

Jim serves on the St. Louis County Business Expansion and Retention Committee and is a member of the International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I²SL) national BIM committee. He is also a member of the Design-Build Institute of America, Construction Management Association of America, Associated General Contractors and is a voting member for the Global Lab of the Year Award.

Jim Stevenson

Stevenson’s diverse experience includes project management, safety, risk management, business transactions, contracts and human resources.

A long-time Associated General Contractors (AGC) Houston board member, Stevenson currently is serving as the 2011/2012 AGC Houston chairman of the board. He is also leading an important Houston industry initiative called the Construction Career Collaborative (C3) for a sustainable craft workforce, and has been doing so since 2009.

Cam Walker

Sara Hill

Hill is responsible for maintaining and growing McCarthy’s business in the education (K-12), higher education, commercial, government and parking structure markets within Orange and Los Angeles counties as well as in the Inland Empire region of Southern California.

She has more than 11 years of marketing and business development experience in the architecture, engineering and construction industries. A founding board member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services - Orange County and past president of the organization, Hill has also served on the board for the Women’s Transportation Seminar and is a member of the Construction Management Association of America and the Design-Build Institute of America.

Robert Betz

With nearly 25 years of construction industry experience, Robert Betz joined McCarthy in 1994, serving in various leadership roles for the firm’s Southern California Division. In his position as senior vice president, Betz is responsible for establishing strong relationships with clients and partners in the San Diego region, along with overseeing the overall operations of McCarthy’s San Diego office.

Betz has played an integral role in the successful completion of a variety of large-scale McCarthy construction projects in San Diego and Orange counties. He has also been instrumental in establishing McCarthy among the top green builders in the region and helped lead the division’s use of leading technology on jobsites. He holds certificates of Construction Technology, OSHA 500 Construction Safety, and OSHA 501 General Industry Safety from the University of California, San Diego.

In addition to his extensive industry experience, Rick is active in the local community serving on the Ronald McDonald House Building Committee, Albuquerque Green Build Task Force, New Mexico Heritage Preservation Alliance, and Samaritan Counseling Center Board of Directors.

Based in Kansas City, Barry is primarily responsible for new business development, client services and marketing with a focus on fostering relationships with Healthcare, Education, and Science & Technology clients in the region. Barry has managed marketing for McCarthy's Science & Technology business development team for the past three years. A LEED Accredited Professional, Barry is a strong advocate for sustainability efforts at McCarthy and on the firm’s building projects. He is an active member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, having recently served as president of the St. Louis chapter.
