After 41 months of construction, the new 1.5 million-square-foot Children's Hospital completed three weeks early. Due to the building's configuration, the team was able to develop an early enclosure plan to expedite dry-in so interior finishes could start early. The staggered configuration made it possible to begin installing equipment in critical areas while steel was being erected elsewhere.
