Interviewing Tips

Literally thousands of books have been written on the subject.  Countless megabytes of data and advice are at your beck and call for free on the Internet.  And your counselors at school certainly have all kinds of pertinent advice too.  Bottomline – in this day, you have zero excuses for not being ready for an interview.  While we will not bore you with tips already commonly available in other places, we would suggest there are three key points to keep in mind as your first interview approaches.

Be prepared.
There are a thousand and one different ways to show that you are – and it’s completely obvious to us when you’re not.  So take all the necessary steps to demonstrate that you belong in that interview chair.

Be yourself.
We pride ourselves on being genuine. So go ahead … let your personality, your accomplishments and your passion come out.  And please don’t pretend to be something you’re not – again, it’s very obvious when you do.

Most of all – relax.
We know it’s easy to say and much tougher to do, but it’s absolutely essential to success. Interviewing is a two-way street – you’re there as much to learn about us as we are learning about you.
