Richmond Laboratory and Office Building
Richmond, California
$130 million bacteriological/viralogical clinical research and testing laboratory. Phase I consists of a 160,000 sf of building space including office modules, a laboratory, a vivarium, and a central plant. Phase II consists of 360,000 gsf which houses 3 labs, 2 office wings, auditorium, and a warehouse with maintenance shops. This project, totaling 520,000 sf, is the largest non design-build project undertaken by the State of California.
