PROJECT DETAILS
A 651,370-sf, six-story replacement hospital construction project including a start-of-the-art inpatient care diagnostic and treatment facility accommodating critical care and acute care nursing; inpatient and outpatient surgery; labor and delivery; neonatal ICU; a computer infrastructure to accommodate Kaiser Permanente's industry-leading automated medical record system, replacing paper charts; a new picture archiving communications system that routes diagnostics images to flat-panel monitors in offices, exam and operating rooms, thus eliminating the need for traditional x-ray files and screens and a central utility plant providing the power, medical gas, plumbing, mechanical services, and systems monitoring to the hospital, with emergency power generators, all built by the construction experts at McCarthy.
