PROJECT DETAILS
The center is a state-of-the-art outpatient cancer clinical care and research facility. The project consists of a 3-story structural steel clinical services/administrative building and a 5-story cast-in-place research laboratory tower, with an atrium and bamboo courtyard that connects the buildings together. The project has a total of 260,000 square feet.
It was the first Cancer Center in the world to provide all outpatient care and research within one facility. This facility encompasses prevention, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, rehabilitation, aftercare, nutrition and education services, along with world-class research.
The Cancer Center features many therapeutic gardens where patients, friends and family can relax during treatment. The vision for this facility is to help patients deal with the disease and hopefully one day find a cure.
