McCarthy recently began construction on a four-level medical office building (MOB) and a 485-car parking structure at St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, Calif.
The $118 million project features a 98,000-square-foot MOB housing general x-ray, internal medicine, endocrinology, pulmonary, breast center, orthopedics, sports medicine and outpatient operating rooms. The new MOB will be integrated with an existing MOB on three floors. Similarly, the new nine-level parking structure will connect to the existing parking structure on two levels. Located on a constrained site across the street from St. Jude Medical Center and adjacent to the existing St. Jude Medical Plaza, the project requires extensive planning for site logistics and construction sequencing.
