Located in McCarthy’s shadow, Edgewood Children’s Center provides compassionate care and treatment to restore children and strengthen families through intensive therapy, special education, case management and support services. For years, a McCarthy executive has served on its Board and whenever the Center needs a little help, McCarthy is right there for them.

Last year, as part of McCarthy’s Heart Hats community service program, 20 employees climbed ladders to replace a large expanse of acoustical ceiling in one of the Center’s buildings. Crews also power washed windows and screens and removed some old benches and barbeque grills on the property. In true McCarthy fashion, and with a lot of volunteers from the office and the Yard, Heart Hat volunteers were able to knock out the entire project in just two days.
McCarthy looks forward to continuing the relationship with Edgewood Children’s Center.
