McCarthy Hosts Job Site Tour For Patrick Henry High School Ace Mentor Program

mbc-ace-tour5-1208Officials of McCarthy Building Companies recently gave students of Patrick Henry High School a behind-the-scenes tour of the $260 million Rady Children’s Hospital Patient Care Pavilion job site in San Diego. The tour was held in conjunction with the ACE Mentoring Program of America, a unique partnership with building industry professionals and school educators who work together to inform young students about the various career opportunities available within the architectural design, engineering and construction fields.

Local Builders Donate Labor and Supplies to Rebuild the New Ronald McDonald House Family Room at Choc Children’s in Mission Hospital

McCarthy has recently completed reconstruction of the Ronald McDonald House Family Room inside CHOC Children’s at Mission Hospital. Approximately $225,000 in construction work and materials were donated to complete this 852-square-foot remodel.

Dallas City Performance Hall Will be Third Project for McCarthy in the Dallas Arts District

The Dallas City Performance Hall, a 124,000-square-foot multi-phase theatre facility, will be McCarthy’s next construction undertaking in the Dallas Arts District.  During phase one of construction, 45,000 square-feet will be completed.  The City Performance Hall is on track to be the first LEED Silver rated performing arts facility in Texas under the United States Green Building Council and will provide a new state-of-the-art home for small and medium arts groups reflecting the diverse communities of Dallas.
