McCarthy Breaks Ground for Mercy/Centerre Rehab Hospital in Springfield, Mo.
McCarthy breaks ground for a $28 million rehabilitation hospital for Mercy and Centerre Healthcare on Tuesday, April 2. The 63,000-square-foot, two-story rehab hospital is in Springfield, Mo., just across the street from the Mercy Orthopedic Hospital Springfield site where McCarthy is already at work. Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Springfield will have 60 beds and provide inpatient rehabilitation for patients who are recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries and other conditions. Construction is expected to be completed in early 2014.
