June 3, 2005 — Keeping the Dude Working McCarthy's Southern California Division recently joined the firm's Northern California Division as part of the Cal/OSHA Consultation Services Golden State Program, which recognizes advanced safety systems among companies with non-fixed sites.

January/February 2003 — McCarthy has completed a $33 million, state-of-the-art bioengineering facility for Washington University in St. Louis.

January 16, 2003 — Esplanade Place Opening a Show in Luxury McCarthy has completed construction of the $32 million Esplanade Place, the first luxury condominium development of its kind in Phoenix.

July, 2001 — Facility Profile: Sonoma State University Jean and Charles Schulz Information Center McCarthy constructed a 215,000-square-foot Information Center for Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, Calif.

August, 2000 — Glass Nautilus The new pavilion constructed at the base of Seattle's Space Needle preserves the integrity of the structure's original design, while respecting the strictures imposed by landmark status.

December 14, 1998 — Planning Ahead Eases Pain Foresight in placement of a footing prevented a logistical nightmare for Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasedena, California.

October 26, 1998 — McCarthy Awarded $12 Million Upgrade of Tums Plant Three-year project will give world famous Tums plant in St. Louis an upgrade during which the five-story facility will remain operational.

October 5, 1998 — Local Construction Firm Goes Hollywood In a Big Way McCarthy will break ground on a $385 million entertainment center along Hollywood Boulevard in L.A. to become home of the "Oscars" telecast.

September, 1998 — World's Largest Seismic Base-Isolated Hospital New medical center in Colton, California is the first facility to use a combination of hydraulic viscous dampers and elastomeric base isolators to absorb the energy generated during a seismic event and protect the building's structural integrity.
