McCarthy recently broke ground on the new $61.7 million Dallas County Detention Center South Tower, a 335,000-square-foot expansion of the Lew Sterrett complex replacing two older facilities.

In the last five years, the school population for Florence’s district has more than tripled, necessitating more construction in those years than had occurred in the previous five decades.
McCarthy’s choice for its Heart Hat program this year started by watching the Today Show on NBC. Lori Winsor in McCarthy’s Roseville office saw a story about Project Sunshine on the news and wanted to know if this fit the profile for McCarthy’s Community Day efforts.
