While there he managed contract administration, MIS, scheduling, field operations, safety and EEO compliance areas.

With more than 30 years of construction experience, Kloster is responsible for overseeing the firm's operations in the Midwest, which include all areas east of the Rockies. He is also a member of the company's Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Kloster joined McCarthy in 1987 as a project director in its Bridge and Heavy Division and was promoted to senior vice president of the Midwest Division in 1988 and president of that Division in 1993. In addition to his work at McCarthy, Kloster is a board member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and coordinates McCarthy's involvement in the Minority Youth in Construction program.
