PROJECT DETAILS
McCarthy built this new five-story, 233,000-sf tower, D&T building and modular central plant as part of this healthcare construction project in Phoenix.
This new medical center is on an 80-acre Greenfield site located in Queen Creek that will serve the healthcare needs of the growing Pinal County. The medical center is being constructed in phases and consists of a five-story nursing tower and two-story diagnostic and treatment building.
Phase I—consists of 36 patient beds, a full-service emergency department with 18 private treatment rooms, four operating suites, diagnostic imaging and laboratory, and a modular central plant.
Phase II—consists of an expansion to both buildings. This doubles the size of the emergency department and expands the inpatient bed count to 136 beds.
Phase III—includes a full-service medical campus to house up to 600 beds. This center has state-of-the-art medical and information technology, including fully electronic medical record keeping. Its architectural features promote comfort and healing.
