Airport Parking Construction
When it's time to expand an airport to handle more traffic and passengers, McCarthy is ready. We have years of experience in airport construction, including the addition and expansion of multiple parking facilities for some of the busiest airports in the nation. From adding new parking lots to constructing new parking decks and parking garages, McCarthy is a builder that airports trust.
Across the country, airports turn to McCarthy to expand and refine their parking structures and options.
John Wayne Airport Eastside Parking Structure
When it came time to add new parking to the John Wayne Airport, McCarthy received the call. We constructed a 1,000,000-sf, one level above and one level below-grade parking structure and roadway. The addition of 2,800 parking spots significantly increased the ability of the airport to handle a growing amount of passenger traffic.
John Wayne Airport Parking Structure Addition
McCarthy wasn't finished at the John Wayne Airport. In addition to the new east side structure, we worked with the airport and their design firm to add 1,962 spaces to an existing structure on site. The cast-in-place, post tensioned ductile frame parking structure was upgraded with over 788,000 square feet of new space, further increasing the abilities of John Wayne Airport to serve their passengers.
