This project is part of ME Global’s $1 billion new petrochemical plant construction that connects to Dow’s new ethylene cracker facility at the Oyster Creek facility in Freeport, TX. McCarthy was selected to be the construction manager and general contractor on a portion of this project that included construction of 13 tanks including two 165K bbls monoethylene glycol tanks, one 90K bbls wastewater tank, various diethylene glycol, polyglycol, glycol, and product makeup tanks, pipe rack, pilings, concrete manifolds, truck scale building, mechanical and process piping, instrumentation and electric.
