McCarthy is pleased to announce the addition of Shaun Sleeth as senior vice president in the firm’s Northern Pacific Region and business unit leader of the Roseville, Calif., office, where he is based. Sleeth most recently served as director of business development in McCarthy’s Southern California Region.

“Throughout his 15-year career with McCarthy, Shaun has demonstrated strong leadership and developed an illustrious reputation as a professional that strategically and intelligently achieves the best possible outcome for our clients and our company,” said Rich Henry, president of the McCarthy Northern Pacific Region. “His transition to the Northern Pacific Region further demonstrates his commitment to our ‘One Company’ approach, and we’re thrilled to have him on board in Roseville.”

In his new position, Sleeth is focused on understanding client project goals, ensuring the proper allocation of resources and identifying innovative solutions for efficiency and productivity. A veteran of the construction industry, Sleeth is a well-versed practitioner of the modalities of Lean Construction and Integrated Project Delivery. This approach integrates people, systems, business structures and practices into a process that collaboratively harnesses the talents and insights of all participants to optimize project results, increase value to the owner, reduce waste, and maximize efficiency through all phases of design, fabrication and construction. To ensure the delivery of projects of the best quality and value, Sleeth emphasizes the use of modular construction solutions and other innovative techniques as foundational elements in his approach to client service.

“Building impactful projects and shaping the landscape to best serve the communities in which we live has always been what drives me, and that philosophy is very much in alignment with our Roseville team,” said Sleeth. “I look forward to further elevating McCarthy’s reputation in the region as a go-to trusted partner that delivers projects of the highest caliber to ensure ultimate success for our clients and their goals.”

During his tenure, Sleeth has skillfully managed several high-profile mega projects, including the St. Joseph Hospital Patient Care Center, the Mission Hospital Acute Care Tower and the St. Jude Medical Center Northwest Tower, which received the 2016 “Excellence in Teaming” award from the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), the authoritative trade association dedicated to teaching and promoting best practices in design-build. Since 2015, Sleeth has served as the chair of the Lean Construction Institute’s Los Angeles chapter. He earned his bachelor of science in construction management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
