Deroyce Walden, Foreman


Deroyce Walden is a foreman at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston project. his accountability and loyalty are noticed and appreciated by his entire team on the project site. Deroyce was the last person to leave the jobsite during Hurricane Harvey, and the first person on site afterward. Thank you for your commitment to excellence, Deroyce!

Rhonda Schroeder, Excavator Operator


Rhonda Schroeder is part of McCarthy’s heavy civil group and was a one-woman show in excavating 10,000 tons of riprap and concrete rubble at Velasco Terminal Berth 8. With more than 2 years with McCarthy, she is a real asset to our Houston team.

Isaac Borrego, Superintendent


Isaac Borrego's journey with McCarthy began in 2002 as a Carpenter Apprentice. His desire to continuously learn while not being afraid to fail has earned him many promotions. He recently took on the role of running McCarthy's Southern California Yard as Superintendent. Isaac's advice for new trade partners is to appreciate your entire team and realize that whether you succeed or fail, you do it together. He credits his success to having a strong camaraderie with his craft partners and peers.
