This new, 521,000-square-foot USDA dairy dryer plant, named Project Flatland, produces powdered milk and contains one of the largest dairy dryers in the world. The production facility includes milk receiving and cream load-out, raw milk processing, pasteurized processing, milk evaporation and drying, filling and packaging, dry warehousing, shipping, office space and employee wellness areas. A wastewater treatment plant was also constructed on the site. This dairy dryer facility was recently named the 2018 Sustainable Plant of the Year by Food Engineering Magazine.
