Institute for Forensic Science

The new, 112,000-square-foot Institute for Forensic Science replaces an existing forensic facility includes a three-story forensics laboratory containing a ballistics testing facility, trace labs, forensic biology labs, DNA extraction labs, drug analysis labs, breath alcohol and toxicology labs. The project also includes a two-story administration area with conference facilities, a one-story autopsy lab and morgue facility, and a high-security evidence room. 

The forensic facility will combine a family environment for visitors with enhanced security for emergency operations and top-of-the-line teaching and conference capabilities.
