Billy Naylor
Senior Vice President, Environmental Health and Safety
Billy oversees the implementation of McCarthy’s national safety program, including all company policies and procedures regarding safety. He joined McCarthy in 2006 and has 30 years of construction experience. Before assuming his current position, he was vice president, safety for the Southern Region of McCarthy, providing leadership for the company’s professional and skilled trade employees in Dallas, Houston and Atlanta.
One of Billy's significant impacts to McCarthy’s safety approach has been helping shift away from a policy-driven safety program to the firm’s current safety-based approach built on creating accountability and personal ownership, cultivating a true safety culture. Under Billy's leadership, McCarthy has been awarded multiple Safety Through Exemplary Performance (STEP) awards from the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). He was named TEXO’s Safety Professional of the Year in 2017.
Aside from his responsibilities at McCarthy, Billy is the company representative with the National Construction Safety Executives (NCSE).
