Fitz O’Donnell

Fitz serves as the Marine Business Unit leader for the Channelview, TX office and McCarthy’s Southern Region. He is responsible for the strategy and opportunities for McCarthy in the Houston Ship Channel, Texas Gulf Coast, and beyond.  

Fitz began with McCarthy in 2008 as an assistant project manager but has a more than 22 years of industry experience. Upon joining McCarthy, he worked on a variety of marine, water treatment plant, and heavy civil construction projects, serving in multiple leadership positions before assuming his current role in 2019.  

Fitz holds a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in both Texas and Mississippi and is a member of multiple industry organizations including the PDCA Texas Chapter, Houston Port Region Economic Alliance, and more. He is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
