Joe Lewandowski serves as Vice President and Business Unit Leader of McCarthy’s Kansas City office, where he is responsible for driving business development, leading project delivery, and cultivating strong relationships with clients and partners across the region. Since joining McCarthy in 2005, Joe has led a wide range of prominent projects across the United States, including major efforts in New Orleans and Oklahoma City, and most recently served as Project Director for the 660,000-square-foot Plaza West Tower at Barnes-Jewish Hospital—part of the BJC Campus Renewal Project in St. Louis.
He is known for his unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction, as well as his ability to foster a collaborative project environment. Under his leadership, teams consistently deliver projects ahead of schedule and under budget, leveraging Lean construction principles and innovative project delivery methods.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and maintains Engineer-in-Training (EIT) and LEED Green Associate credentials.
