Josh Gaghen

Josh Gaghen serves as the Vice President and Business Unit Leader of our St. Louis office. In this capacity, he manages business development and project delivery for a diverse clientele across multiple cities in the Midwest. Since joining McCarthy in 2013, Josh has been a key contributor to the company's success, serving in various leadership capacities. Most recently, he led the construction of the $1.7 billion Next NGA West campus, the western regional headquarters for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency in St. Louis. His leadership and expertise were instrumental in delivering this complex, high-profile project. 

Highlighting his commitment to innovation and sustainable construction practices, Josh is certified by the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) and a LEED Accredited Professional by the U.S. Green Building Council. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Josh earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He furthered his education with a master’s degree in civil engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and an MBA from Webster University.
