Scott Canada was named President of McCarthy’s National Mission Critical group in 2025 after nearly two decades leading the creation and growth of the firm’s National Renewable Energy group into one of the nation’s top EPC’s. Scott provides strategic leadership for all mission critical projects and teams across the United States. In his new role as President of Mission Critical, Scott brings the same forward-looking vision and commitment to operational excellence, team development, and client partnerships. He is also deeply committed to workforce development and fostering a safety culture that consistently surpasses industry benchmarks.
Since joining McCarthy in 2009, Scott helped grow McCarthy’s renewable energy portfolio from 21 MW of solar projects to more than 100 projects totaling 17+ GW of solar energy and over 9 GWh of energy storage, significantly contributing to the United States' transition to clean energy.
Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Texas Tech University and a master’s degree in construction management from Arizona State University. He is also certified in Six Sigma and Innovation Management.
