As Regional Chief Operating Officer for McCarthy’s Southwest Region, Sean Slawson leads McCarthy’s operational execution across the region. In this role, he is responsible for all design-phase and construction operations with a focus on craft and self-perform, and he drives planning for shared services including safety, scheduling, and quality.  

Previously, Sean served as Business Unit Leader for the Southwest Region’s Commercial group and Senior Vice President of Operations. He joined McCarthy in 2016 and has led some of the region’s largest, most complex projects. His market experience spans healthcare, aviation, mission critical, and municipal sectors.  

Sean holds a dual bachelor’s degree in management and supply chain management from Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business. He has also supported the growth of McCarthy’s mission critical program by connecting regional partners with clients and strategically positioning project leadership.
