Scott Lawrence

As the Chief Operating Officer of McCarthy’s Southern Region, Scott oversees all design-phase and construction operations across the company’s Southern projects. He collaborates with operations leadership to ensure policies and procedures are effectively implemented while also supporting, enabling, and holding partners accountable. Scott closely monitors project performance throughout the lifecycle of each job, with a continual focus on client satisfaction. 

Scott has been with McCarthy for over 22 years, joining as a project engineer in 2002, shortly after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has excelled in various roles, including project manager, director, and senior vice president of operations. In August 2024, Scott was appointed Chief Operating Officer of McCarthy’s Southern Region. Scott is on the board of directors for the Associated General Contractors of Georgia.
