Domenic Koyama

Domenic Koyama is the Newport Beach Business Unit Leader, where he oversees all aspects of construction including design phase services, preconstruction, construction operations, and business development efforts across a diverse portfolio of healthcare, education, aviation, entertainment, parking, civic and commercial projects. With a focus on operational excellence and client service, he leads project delivery and self-perform strategy while developing leaders and fostering strong, collaborative partnerships with clients and trade partners. 

Throughout his career, Domenic has held a variety of roles, contributing to McCarthy’s growing self-perform capabilities while leading early design phase efforts that bring clarity, collaboration, and strategic insight to complex projects. He has played an integral role in several of Newport Beach’s team’s significant community projects while helping advance and demonstrate McCarthy’s SiteShift Parking Technology. His leadership is grounded in a commitment to developing people, elevating project outcomes and creating the conditions for teams to do their best work. 

Domenic is passionate about advancing communities where he lives and works. In Orange County, he has participated in civic and community-facing events and helped coordinate McCarthy’s engagement with the American Heart Association. He holds a degree in construction engineering from San Diego State University.
