McCarthy Opens Doors to In-Demand Construction Jobs
McCarthy is helping youth discover a clear path into the trades, and a recent feature in the St. Louis American shows exactly what that looks like in action.
Tebyron Davis, is a KIPP St. Louis High School graduate who grew up building with LEGOs and is now exploring a career in construction. Through a personal connection with McCarthy Laborer Danyael Crittenden, Tebyron and his mom, Ronda, toured the active jobsite at the new SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, meeting carpenters, electricians and other tradespeople who talked through their day-to-day work.
Experiences like these showcase what a career in the trades can really look like, inspiring the next generation to explore this rewarding path for themselves.
