    Rich Henry is responsible for overseeing all McCarthy operations in the Northern Pacific Region. He has been with McCarthy for his entire career, starting as a project engineer, and then working his way up as project manager, senior project manager, project director and vice president. Rich has worked on a wide variety of projects including hospitals, microelectronics facilities, convention centers, research laboratories and parking structures, and he has also been instrumental in establishing McCarthy as a leader in K-12 and higher education facility school construction.

    Rich is an active board member of the California Construction Employers Association and the San Francisco Bay Area Council. In 2013, he was inducted into the Academy of Civil Engineers at the Missouri University of Science & Technology in recognition of his contribution to the construction industry and his community. He is also a member of the Executive Leadership Team for the East Bay Chapter of the American Heart Association.

    As Senior Vice President of the Sacramento region, Shaun oversees all McCarthy business operations throughout the California Central Valley and north into Oregon. In his role, he focuses on understanding client project goals, ensuring proper allocation of resources, and identifying innovative solutions for efficiency and productivity.

    After graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in construction management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Shaun joined McCarthy’s Southern California Region, serving as a project engineer and project manager. He moved into the role of quality director, earning an “Excellence in Teaming” award from the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) for the St. Jude Medical Center Northwest Tower. In 2015 he served as business development director for the firm’s healthcare market in Southern California prior to assuming his current role.

    By leveraging his knowledge of healthcare projects, Lean construction and Integrated Project Delivery, along with his proven field experience, Shaun is driven to build impactful projects that shape the landscape, ensure ultimate success for our clients and support the local community.

    Rod oversees McCarthy’s Northern Pacific Parking Structures Group, including preconstruction, estimating, value analysis and cost control review as well as project planning and construction. He holds responsibility for all phases of every parking structure project in the Northern Pacific Region for McCarthy and brings nearly 25 years of experience in the construction industry.

    Rod is the past president for American Society of Professional Estimators and served as a committee member for Design-Build Institute of America Sacramento Chapter.

    Jay Yost transitioned to the McCarthy business development team in 2017, bringing along a decade of construction and preconstruction experience from his career with the company. He began with McCarthy as a project engineer and ultimately served as preconstruction director before transitioning into his current role. He now focuses on the principles of stakeholder value and organizational effectiveness to develop and lead high-performing pursuit teams while building strong client relationships to seek out new business opportunities.

    Jay is an active board member with the CREATE Mentoring Program, which focuses on inspiring high school students interested in pursuing careers in the built environment. He also is a general board member for The Center for Fathers and Families.
