    Erik Chessmore oversees operations for McCarthy in the Los Angeles area. With more than 17 years of experience, Erik has led the charge on some of the region’s largest and most challenging healthcare projects, including St. John’s Tower, Torrance Memorial Tower and Loma Linda University Medical Center. Erik’s ensures success for clients and project stakeholders through his intense focus on exceptional client experiences, passion for building high-performing teams and perseverance in the face of challenges. He has held a number of field and leadership positions, including serving as a project executive prior to his current role.

    As Executive Vice President and Office Leader for McCarthy’s Southern California region, Paul Erb oversees all company services across Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara counties. Having joined McCarthy in 2004 and holding integral roles including vice president of San Jose operations and San Jose Office Leader, Paul brings more than two decades of experience in the building industry to his role.

    Paul has overseen the construction of some of Northern California's marquee projects and worked with a variety of clients including Stanford University, Apple, and the University of California, Berkeley, among others. Paul currently spearheads a leadership team dedicated to growing and supporting the communities of the greater Los Angeles area. Known for his skill as a consensus builder focused on forming strong project teams, he is active in several industry and community organizations and holds a LEED AP BD+C designation from the United States Green Building Council.

    As Vice President for McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., Fermin Glasper oversees the delivery of McCarthy Mapping services for clients across the nation as owners and building team partners continue to realize the benefits of this service. Fermin is a Department of Defense-trained Geomatics Engineer with more than 20 years of applied experience and a diverse background in geomatics engineering, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, surveying, design, construction management and strategic planning. He is a licensed Professional Surveyor registered in multiple states and a former adjunct instructor for the University of Wyoming. Fermin is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineering, the National Society of Professional Surveyors and the American Association for Geodetic Surveying.

    Named regional president in January 2018, Mike reports directly to McCarthy President and COO Scott Wittkop. Mike formerly served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Castle Contracting for more than 16 years. During his tenure as COO of Castle, he was responsible for all field and office operations as well as the business development and estimating functions. Under his leadership, Castle has grown to a highly successful business with over 200 employees. After the McCarthy acquisition of Castle in late 2014, Mike became Executive Vice President and a member of the McCarthy Executive Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to his relocation to California, Mike was also associated with the ACE Mentor Program of St. Louis, AGC of Missouri, Eastern Missouri Laborers and the Flags of Valor organization.

    Matt Lawson brings more than 24 years of construction, estimating and preconstruction experience to his role as Vice President, Preconstruction for McCarthy’s operations in Los Angeles. He is known for setting high standards for himself and his teams and is a key mentor of new and senior estimators, with a focus on lean technologies and practices. He has held a number of preconstruction leadership roles within McCarthy, including Senior Preconstruction Director of McCarthy’s San Diego office, prior to his current position.

    Andrew is a member of the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association, Southern California Developer Form (SCDF), Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) and the Associated General Contractors (AGC).

Prior to his current role, He has served in several field and leadership positions — beginning his career as a project engineer and served and as project manager prior to his current role. Dan’s experience leading aspects of operations and preconstruction, focus on client goals, and experience building high performing teams ensures exceptional outcomes for all project stakeholders.
