    As President for McCarthy's Central Region, John oversees McCarthy operations in 29 states east of the Rockies. With nearly 25 years of experience in the construction industry, he worked his way up at McCarthy from assistant project superintendent to project superintendent, project manager, project director and business unit leader prior to assuming his current role. John is a professional mechanical engineer and also holds a Healthcare Construction Certificate from the American Society for Healthcare Engineering. John has a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and an M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis.

    As the McCarthy Kansas City office leader, Steve Meuschke is responsible for strategy and near-term opportunities for McCarthy in the Kansas City region. Steve brings nearly two decades of experience in the construction industry to his role, including serving as the project manager on the award-winning Mercy Hospital Joplin replacement facility in Joplin, Mo. He also played integral roles on a variety of other major McCarthy projects, including the Dairy Farmers of America dryer plant and renovation of the Spencer Chemistry and Biological Sciences Building at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Steve holds LEED AP BD + C and OSHA 30-Hour Construction & Health certifications.
